Whole Athlete coaches have extensive experience in training, racing and coaching with power meters. We offer power-based training programs, power meter rentals, tutorials, installation and calibration services.

Power Meter Rentals

Experience the advantages of training with power by renting a power meter from Whole Athlete. Rental units are the latest PowerTap 2.4 wireless models (available for Shimano/ SRAM or Campagnolo) and installation is simple – we’ll swap your cassette onto the wheel and place the computer mount on your handlebars. Included is a tutorial on using the unit and its software plus a brief overview of how to unlock the potential of power meters. As a bonus, at the end of the month you’ll have an option to purchase a unit at a 10% discount or receive a 15% discount off your first month of power-based coaching.

Rates:

$100/ month. Includes installation and tutorial on how to use the PowerTap computer and software.

$75/ month with a Performance Test: Save $25 on your rental in conjunction with a Maximal Steady State performance test. The MSS test will establish your power and heart rate zones and allow you to make the most of your power meter by defining the data it provides.

$75/ month for current coaching members using Performance or Elite Heart Rate training plans.

Rental Unit details:

The latest PowerTap 2.4 wireless hub is laced with 32 DT Swiss double-butted spokes into a lightweight DT Swiss R1.1 rim. This makes for an extremely stiff and durable wheel at a competitive weight. Strong enough for daily training, this build is also light and fast enough for racing – when your data counts the most.
