Ingrain
proper form
Dusty will provide a running form analysis and enhance your
technique with specific drills.
Follow
an annual structured and periodized training program
You will do a timed test run to provide individualized interval
times for speed and speed endurance training, which are as
essential to laying out a gradual, progressive approach to
achieving maximum speed and economy in your events.
Know
the purpose of each training session
Dusty will discuss how to set up an individualized running
program that can best contribute to a gradual development
while avoiding injury: your fitness level and race calendar
will dictate how you increase volume (time or distance) or
elevate the intensity of your running sessions. You will approach
each track session or speed endurance session with specific,
personalized goals. |

| Running
clinic testimonials
‘I found the clinic very helpful. I
wanted someone who could really look at my running form and
make specific suggestions for improving, which is exactly
what you did. Overall, I think it will turn out to be very
valuable. I feel faster already.’
--Yvonne Stemwedel, seasoned
multisport athlete and top age grouper
‘I
learned a ton: How to run correctly! How to conserve energy.
The importance of the right body position. Remembering to
have a focus. Where the focus should be! Dusty has the ability
to see all these things and more, at her running clinics.’
--Deborah
Barollaza, recreational runner (martial arts) |
