Jacob Albrecht (Santa Cruz Composite) won the Varsity race, while Sean Bennett (El Cerrito), Marcus Segedin (Redwood High) and Silas Blunk (Independent) swept the top-3 places in Junior Varisty. On the women's side, Josie Nordrum (Redwood High) and Kate Courtney (Branson High) went 1-2, with Mackinzie Stanley (Drake High) taking 4th in Varisty Girls, as Sarah Ogden won her second consecutive Junior Varsity race. Shane Skelton set the stage for the team's success on day two of racing by winning the Cat 1 combined race earlier in the day. 03/11/12Whole Athlete-Specialized 15/16 Juniors sweep the top-four cross country podium spots at the Bonelli Park ProXCT with Sean Bennett, Marcus Segedin, Ben Spurr, and Silas Blunk. Kate Courtney went two for two, winning her second Junior XCT Women's event in two weeks, while Shane Skelton took a strong 2nd place in a national-class XC Junior 17/18 field.

Junior 15/16 riders swept the top four places in the JV field, with Sean Bennett, Ben Spurr, Marcus Segedin and Silas Blunk. Sarah Ogden took the Sophomore Girls win, while Josie Nordrum, Kate Courtney and Mackinzie Stanley earned 2nd, 3rd and 4th in Varsity Girls. Meanwhile in Varsity Boys, Jacob Albrecht took 2nd and Lucas Newcomb 4th. |

After a softening front tire resulted in a bike change on the first lap, Cypress worked his way back through the field all the way to the front to finsh with an impressive third place. |

This prestigious award comes in only the team's third year in existance, and after qualifying riders to the World Championships each year running.
