Associate Coach

Meredith
Miller
knows what it takes to be a competitive athlete as she has excelled
in sports, especially soccer and cycling. Meredith was an All-Big
Ten soccer player at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before
picking up cycling in 1998. Her passion for the sport really gained
momentum after moving to Northern California where she began to
realize the potential of a career in cycling. Unsure of how to train
properly, Meredith became part of the Whole Athlete program to help
her reach her goals.
After racing with the professional Talgo America Team in the US,
Meredith raced professionally with the Danish-based Team SATS from
2003-2005. During those years she competed in such prestigious races
as the Tour de France, Giro d’Italia, Tour de l’Aude,
Fleche Wallonne, Milan San Remo and others.
In 2006 Meredith returned to the American racing scene as a member
of the successful TEAm Lipton, and continues to race in Europe as
a member of the US National Team. In 2007 Meredith and TEAm Lipton
continued to prove that they were a dominating force on US soil,
winning prestigious races such as Nature Valley and Tour de ‘Toona
for the second consecutive year. For the 2008 season, Meredith will
make a move to the Aaron’s Women’s Pro Cycling Team,
a team for which she will use her numerous years of racing experience
and invaluable knowledge to lead the team to many anticipated successes.
Meredith currently lives in Fort Collins, CO, after relocating there
from Auckland, New Zealand in Jan ‘07.
Meredith holds a B.S. and M.A. in Exercise Science, integrating
formal education with years of experience as an elite athlete. Her
philosophy in helping individuals reach their potential is to balance
hard work and recovery, while having fun along the way.
